Frankly, she was a little more forthcoming than I expected.

But I think that's mostly because somebody blew up their research facility.

We were right about them experimenting with human enhancement. Those things we found in the Badlands were criminals and volunteer soldiers. They put down the scientists responsible for the ones we found, but it seems like they planned to keep on experimenting with it right up until a couple Summoned blew the place up.

Now she says they're going full-tilt into machinery instead.
