[ So he's that sort of man. It's amusing, in truth, but Geralt also hasn't got the desire to be anything except blunt. His lettering is similarly straightforward, without flourish, and carrying the bold edges common to an era long before John's. ]

It is difficult to read such things over text, given he does not know the man that well as it is. He suddenly feels very foolish indeed as nevertheless, he urges himself to continue:]

[ Geralt is not, in truth, a stranger to making people nervous, but folk are often afraid of him because of what he is. They are not afraid of crossing boundaries out of courtesy.

[John feels more than a little as though he is being teased, although he hasn't said no. He's finding that conversation had been much easier when they had been face-to-face and he'd been able to read the other man's expression, rather than forced to rely on word alone, of which Geralt has few.

[ It's the true downside of communicating with Geralt in this manner. That John's been receiving a timely response is frankly an indication of how much Geralt does rather like him. There are people who end up waiting days, if they get an answer at all.

A lot can change in three weeks butβ€”he supposes he can grant specifics now for John's sake. ]
