Some timey wimey after rift monsters

Well I looked right at it, very much alive, and very much here.

[ Unlike most of Geralt's replies, this one comes immediately. Evidently, Istredd has caught his attention. ]

Stephen and I went out to a village here just as the new rifts started so I came back since it's not closing, and I think I saw that monster. I only saw the head before, but the rest of it has insect-like pinchers, very sharp, and a series of human-appearing hands up its chest. It's very fast and lethal. Knowing what you told me about it, I thought it important you and Ciri be aware.

Did it attack you?

It was getting violent and launching at people, we've been putting together defensive positions, but it got sucked back into the rift suddenly. I don't know if that means it's gone or if it went somewhere else, but I'm guessing the latter. It's the only giant monster head I've ever seen, it was very memorable.

It had a Devil arcana on it. I don't know what that means yet, but be aware.

[ That's Ciri's, which is concerning—but it needn't mean anything yet. They don't know enough. ]

Unusual sightings have occurred here, too.
I'll look into it.

I've heard of three, not all are tracked yet, but at least you've already killed that beast before.

But these creatures may not hold to that.
