[wanda senses the white wolf's arrival before she sees it, trotting into her horizon with the ease of a creature that is used to traveling. it is a smart creature, she can tell, though she's never been in the presence of a wolf; it's bigger than a dog, but she isn't afraid of it. she can sense its intentions.

and as the wolf stops before her, wanda already knows who is the sender of this note. a hand gently pats the top of the wolf's head—she can't resist—and as soon as it considers the message delivered, it sniffs at her hand for a moment before heading back the way it came.
